- If you're looking to achieve a specific hairstyle while considering your hair texture and current condition, you may only need two products when layering. For instance, if you prefer a soft style with a light hold, all you need is a leave-in conditioner and a mousse. Apply the leave-in conditioner first, followed by the mousse. This will provide your hair with extra moisture and slip, making detangling easier.

- To apply the products, add your formula onto wet or damp hair right after showering. If you have fine hair, add more towards the ends to avoid weighing down your roots.

- Mousse products are lightweight, provide definition with a soft hold, and are great for reducing frizz. For the best results, apply the product to your roots for added lift and volume.

- Lastly, you can also add gel to lock in the moisture provided by the leave-in conditioner and styling creams.
